| 2. This Manual |
|
Welcome to SimplexNumerica and thank you for purchasing SimplexNumerica!
This manual is provided to familiarize you with the fundamentals of SimplexNumerica.
For additional help using SimplexNumerica, review the SimplexNumerica Help files or visit the SimplexNumerica web site at
This manual contains a number of examples which are designed to show some of the facilities available for creating graphs and for creating presentations and to help you navigate the menu system and the toolbars. It is not intended to be a fully completed numerical reference so you are referred to the internet, if you require further details on a particular feature.
It is assumed that you are familiar with the use of Windows based packages; please consult a Windows manual if you do not know the meaning of the following terms:
We also assume minimal knowledge of data sheets. Our examples using in this manual should be fairly easy to follow but you can obtain more details from the Online Help pages because this manual should only be a short description of the program SimplexNumerica.
This manual is subdivided into a description of the installation of the program, afterwards follows a short introduction to SimplexNumerica itself with a reference section of the individual functions. The summary of the keyboard instructions and the index are at the end.
Outgoing from the main window, which is called in SimplexNumerica 2-D Window, the Pulldown menus and among them the individual menu options are described. The more extensive submenus (e.g. those of the 3D-Graphic) are usually described in separate sections. Starting point is thus always the 2D-Window with its Pulldown menus.
By the way, you can call the Help file also separately during run time or from the Windows Explorer.
