18. Pulldown-menu Labelling Logo

The Pulldown-menu <Labelling> is exactly for the axes titles of the coordinate systems. The Label is coupled to the coordinate systems. If one shifts a chart, then the label is also shifted. However, if one increases the coordinate system in dimensions, then the label is normally not increasing. It will be increase if the Pulldown-menu <Scale Fonts on Chart Frame> is hooked.

Simple text belongs to the kinds of labelling, like the label of the y-axis or legends.

When you save data to disk, maybe you have seen the legend dialogbox for additional information. This information is coming from the labelling legend.

The position of the texts can be shifted either with the mouse or by appropriate offset-values in the dialog boxes. If you would like to set the texts with the mouse at another position, then you must press the control key before you click on the text. After the click leave the control and the mouse key. Double click opens the text properties.

You can sitch on and off axes titles wth help of the following dialogbox

Pulldown-menu <Labelling>, menu point <Show or hide Labelling> activates this dialogbox.

The Pulldown-menu <Legend> reads the entries indirectly from the file data header.

The disk header consists of the date and time, the parameter texts and comments.

To activate the dialogbox double click on it.

All the fields can be edited by the user.

The parameter text is generally for the description of the individual graphs. Each parameter text row can have markers and lines placed in front.

These can be assigned to the appropriate series of measurements. The allocation of the markers to the parameter texts can automatically be done by SimplexNumerica for you.

If you click <Get Memory> then the memory record names are listed in the fields.

Double click on the markers in the parameter box causes the call of the lines and marker box and thus the properties of new markers.

Single-click on the markers sets a hook in front of the markers.

Underneath the parameter text dialogbox you can set the distance from markers to the text.

Likewise you can indicate an offset for the parameter text both for the x-position and for the y-position. The offset refers then to all text lines.

These texts are doubly in each case available, thus e.g. x-Axis 1 and x-Axis 2. Writing and position can be provided separately for both.

So that you can enter special characters, the Button <Symbol Table> calls the Windows default dialog.
